General Instructions

Admissions for the BCOM, BMS and BAF courses needs to be submitted online. An Online Application Form needs to be filled with all correct data and then needs to be submitted. Students should check twice before submitting the application form. An incomplete application will not be considered for admission. University of Mumbai has made it mandatory for all the learners seeking admission in First year Degree College, to fill the “Mumbai University Pre–Admission Online Registration Form 2020-21” is available on mum.digitaluniversity.ac

Documents Required

Considering the current Pandemic situation it is not advisable to visit college for submission of documents. Students should Scan (Original along with attested photocopies) below mentioned documents and should email on the mentioned email id [email protected] 1. Class XII Statement of Marks 2. Gujarati Minority Certificate (for Minority Community - Gujarati Linguistic Minority) 3. Caste Certificate 4. Documentary Evidence for Special Category status 5. Passing Certificate (required for getting Eligibility Certificate) 6. Migration Certificate ( belongs to state other than Maharashtra).

  • What is the Admission Policy of Bal-Bharati M.J.P College of Commerce?

    The College is a Gujarati Minority College, administered under the provisions of the Indian Constitution, to promote the welfare of the Minority Community.

  • How many Seats are available in college with respective to Stream?

    Bachelor Of Commerce : First Year (Aided) = 240 Seats, First Year (Un-Aided) = 240 Seats, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) : First Year = 60 Seats, Bachelor of Accounting & Finance (BAF) : First Year = 60 Seats

  • Can a student apply for Undergraduate program in absence of final result of HSC?

    A student may apply provisionally for any course but needs to produce self-attested copy of the mark sheets/ degrees before stipulated date. Incase if the learner not able to submit the required documents within the stipulated date, provisional admission is liable to be cancelled and shall have no claim to the fees paid.

  • What B.Com specialization can I pursue?

    1: Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) 2: Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) 3: Bachelor of Accounting & Finance (BAF)

  • Can I apply for B.COM / BMS / BAF at same time?

    Applicants may apply for B.COM / BMS / BAF courses simultaneously by applying separately by filling a fresh application form for each course.

  • What is the First Year fees of B.COM / BMS / BAF?

    (1) Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) : First Year (Aided) - 5,366/- (A.Y - 2020-2021) (2) Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) : First Year (Unaided) - 10,566/- (A.Y - 2020-2021), (3) Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) : First Year - 20,366/- (A.Y - 2020-2021), (4) Bachelor of Accounting & Finance (BAF) : First Year - 20,666 /- (A.Y - 2020-2021)

  • How the Merit List will be communicated?

    Merit List will be communicated through College website. The soft copy will be uploaded on the website and will be mailed on the student’s registered Email Id.

  • Is there any relaxation on fee payment?

    In this difficult time, we want to reassure you that we understand and care about your education, and economic stability. College is providing a flexi-fee payment plan : Low initial payment: You can now block your seat by paying just INR _____ (Need to Specify Amount) and pay the balance by ________ (Date need to specified)

  • Can the fees be paid in easy EMI’s

    Yes.

  • What if I don’t get my 1st choice of course?

    If you don’t get your 1st choice of course, you will be offered your 2nd choice based on your rank / merit list.

  • What is the process to get my fees refunded?

    If a eligible learner does not join and applies for refund, the fees deposited by that learner shall be refunded after deductions as per Bal-Bharati M.J.P College of Commerce Refund Policy(As per Ordinances 2859, 2859A and 2859B of the University of Mumbai) . NOTE - Application fee is Non-Refundable.

  • When will College resume the session at campus?

    Classroom learning will commence as per the schedule shared above on the basis, when the Govt. of India lifts the lockdown on educational institutions. For new enrolments: Bal-Bharati M.J.P College of Commerce will commence the new academic session as per guidelines issued by University of Mumbai and the mode of classes will be online. For existing students: The new academic session for existing students has been already began and the mode of classes is online.

  • For the new batch starting 2020, will the teaching be completely online? How about practical (no lab facilities at home / Canteen Facilities / internships / library. If so, for how long?

    For the new batch, the teaching will commence with online sessions. As the Govt. of India lifts the lockdown on educational institutions, the classroom learning will resume and thereafter, will be a mix of classroom and online learning. College is using Discord Application (Supports in Smartphones / Laptops / Personal Computer) wherein, we will support all the students in setting up a ‘Discord Application’ with a ‘Learn from home’ where they can practice hands-on skills that they learn in classroom.

  • If online classes continue for a long period of time, do you think the final product (successful students) would be same as campus based learning?

    Even though classroom teaching is temporarily on hold, we are making sure that learning here at Bal-Bharati M.J.P College of Commerce carries on as usual with the help of technology, innovation and the commitment of our faculty. We have taken our entire education online to ensure our students get the best possible creative exposure and opportunities like before.

  • Will online teaching continue after lockdown is lifted?

    Yes, online learning will continue even after the lockdown is lifted. Once the lockdown on educational institutions is lifted by the Govt. of India, classroom learning will resume. However, those students who are unable to visit the campus, will have the option to continue online learning.
